Previously responsible for internal communication and social media campaigns at Credit Suisse, Nadia Riepenhausen, after a stint at Adecco, has joined the rising fintech Gentwo as Media and Communications Lead.
A lot is happening at GenTwo, the leading Zurich-based start-up for securitizations (assetization). Last fall, the company secured a Series A financing of 15 million US Dollars from Point72 Ventures in the USA, as reported by finews.ch (article in German).
Recently, the fintech moved into two spacious floors in the former UBS Tower on Brandschenkestrasse. The workforce is expected to grow from around 100 to approximately 120 employees by the end of the year.
Communication Offensive
GenTwo is now also launching a communication offensive. As the company announced on Friday, it has brought back an experienced communication specialist to the financial industry.
Nadia Riepenhausen, originally from Zimbabwe and holding a master's degree in Media, Communication, and Public Relations from the University of Leicester, looks back on nearly two decades in senior corporate communication roles.
Previously at Adecco and Credit Suisse
Most recently, she was responsible for communication in the Chief Digital IT Office at the Adecco Group. «There she played a key role in developing a multi-stakeholder communications
strategy that supported the company’s ambitious digital transformation goals,» according to the press release.
Prior to her role at Adecco, Riepenhausen was Vice President of Group Internal Communications at Credit Suisse, «where she led communications campaigns that fostered employee engagement on key company initiatives and supported the business strategy.» She was also responsible for social media campaigns, for example in the context of Credit Suisse's engagement at the World Economic Forum.
«Great addition to our team»
Philippe A. Naegeli, co-founder and CEO of GenTwo, comments on the new hire: «Nadia is another great addition to our team, bringing a strategic vision and a proven track
record in impactful communications.» With her extensive experience, she will be «invaluable as we continue on our mission to build out the best possible team for our growth.»
The new head of communications looks forward to «leveraging my experience to foster strong relationships with all stakeholders and drive our shared goals forward.»
